Hi there, this is Mamta ‘The Bohobaalika’!
A stylish by choice hipster mamma of a 3 year old rambunctious cute little girl, currently in the city of joy – Kolkata, India.
Originally a Delhite. She is born to a Tamilian Mother and Punjabi Father who dated and then blithely got married to a Bong in her early 20’s.
Raised in two totally contrasting cultures of the north and south, she’s been early exposed to culture shock, be it food or attire.
She enjoyed wearing Pavada Davani and mogras in her hair to stuffing herself with rajma chhole and aloo parathas in her 8 mtrs patiala salwaar, she has enjoyed and lived up the diversity in her genes.
Dwelt & basked in various parts of the country, she now hops between Delhi and Kolkata, two of her favorite cities.
From stories of my childhood to inclination towards culture, fabric, texture and heritage, this is blog is created to park all my creative musings under one roof.
A saree opportunist, lover of Frida, amateur photographer, inspiration stalker, and aspiring creative entrepreneur on the go.
This ‘Bohobaalika’ will be sharing here with you, delightful moments, interesting decors, DIY’s, her eclectic stylebook, travel stories, mama talk, art and crafts or anything random we’ll stumble upon colouful and kitschy!
